Go Me!
I actually feel like I accomplished something today! It’s probably because my aunt called early this morning and woke me up, so I decided not to go back to sleep. So that meant much more time for me to actually do things.
Mainly today consisted of packing away the Christmas stuff and getting out the regular decorations. That’s never a fun job, but it has to be done so we don’t look like weirdos. Now that all that stuff is taken care of, I (hopefully) won’t have to worry about lugging those boxes for another year because it’s not fun.
During a bout of boredom I decided that I should clean out my Superman piggy bank before I went back to school and spent about an hour and a half wrapping ~$25 in coins. Am going to have my mom (shes the branch manager at my bank) deposit them into my checking account tomorrow so that the money is there. I also found some money that I didnt know I had stuffed into the piggybank, so that was a pleasant surprise.
I can also say that I am now officially an Ebay seller! I sold something this afternoon after it had been listed for only 3 hours (people must REALLY want that Warcraft turtle mount – can’t blame them though). I just have to ship it out tomorrow and I’ll be well on my way to getting that money! I was kinda freaked out when PayPal informed me that there was a hold on the cash in my account (I was like “what did I do wrong?!?!”) but after reading the page I understand why they do it. And since the fees to Ebay were much less than I expected them to be, I’m now looking for more things to sell!
Tomorrow hopefully Mike is coming over and we’ll be hanging out around here with Gram while my mom goes out with some of her friends. We’ll probably end up eating at LeRoys and renting movies or something since there really isn’t much else to do in T-Town besides that (and since I don’t really think Mike wants to go see Bride Wars with me).
Its (probably) too soon to say this, but things seem to be looking up!
(Except that a certain someone sent me a 10 day free trial to World of Warcraft and I’m probably going to get hooked again)
