The Weekend
Valentines Day, despite having a horrible day on Friday, was actually pretty great. I woke up to find a gigantic card slipped in under my door from Michael. It was so cute that it instantly cheered me up from the bad mood I’d been in for about four days. He then came up and told me that he’d be cooking dinner for me later so I needed to decide when I wanted to eat. He then proceeded to make me Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo and Garlic Bread. Apparently he remembers that Chicken Alfredo is my all-time favorite food. It was extremely good and I’m definitely going to force him to make it for me again sometime. The rest of the night (until about 2am Sunday) was spent just hanging out together and watching tons of movies. We ended up watching Along Came Polly, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Sweet Home Alabama, The Breakup, and The Hills Have Eyes (it’s never REAL fun unless you throw in a spectacularly bad excuse for a horror movie).
Sunday wasn’t exactly my finest moment. A bunch of stuff that’s been bugging me boiled up to the surface and I was in a pretty bad state for most of the day. I ended up randomly leaving my dorm at around 9 and driving out to Water Street in order to drive the back way to State College. I’d only ever done this once before with Mike when we were going to SC to Walmart, so it was a bit frightening. It was really dark and I wasn’t exactly positive I was on the right road, but I ended up at the base of the mountain, so I just turned and headed home. It didn’t really improve my mood much, but at least I got out and about for a bit instead of staying locked up in my room the entire day.
Today was okay, I guess school takes my mind off stuff (even though that’s a good portion of the stress I’m under). But I’m feeling better so I hope things can work themselves out. I’m just not in the mood to be dealing with this crap all the time.
To end on a light note, I leave you with some pictures!

Sounds like your weekend went great! I love when my hubby cooks my favorite dinners…especially when he does it without me asking! You guys watched a lot of good movies too!
I haven’t watched that many movies at once in a long time. Need to again.
Glad he made you feel better and the dinner looks yummy.
I’m like that to, I just get up and go for a drive until I get tired or lost then trying to get home again is always fun hehe.
