My Handbag

I saw that Aly did this meme a few days ago, and ever since I’ve wanted to do it too. I don’t go places very often where I need to actually take my purse, but when I do go out, it’s usually packed.

The Rules:
Find a safe, quiet place free of significant others, nosey meme makers, priests, nuns, all things religious and men in general.
01. Dump the contents of your handbag in a pile.
02. Take a photo of your handbag and the contents.
03. Be brave and explain to your fellow bloggers what lurks inside the handbag.
04. Tag others who might want to embarrass themselves.
05. Answer these questions:
* Describe the contents of your handbag.
* What’s the most important thing in your handbag?
* What’s the most embarrassing thing in your handbag?
* What’s the smallest thing in your handbag?
* Is there anything illegal in your handbag?

My Bag:

The Contents:

  1. My purse – the Coach bag which my aunt got me. I absolutely love it.
  2. Nintendo DS – always have something to do.
  3. Gum (5 – its in a black package, so you can’t really see it).
  4. Wallet – Matches my purse, and contains almost nothing except for my checkbook and credit cards that get used maybe once every few months.
  5. Wristlet – I carry this more often (so I can leave my purse in the car and not have to worry about it). Contains money, drivers license, various cards (atm, insurance, etc).
  6. Keys & School ID.
  7. Traveling Ted – There will be more on him later… I has plans.
  8. Chapstick.. Rarely used.
  9. Post-Its / Pen – To jot down anything that comes up.
  10. Flash Drive – Has my important files and other things on it.
  11. Inhalor – My lifeline, even though I haven’t needed to use it much.
  12. Advil for headaches
  13. My Bluetooth – Used quite often since most of the states I regularly drive in, it is frowned upon when you talk on your cellphone while driving.
  14. My D&G Sunglasses
  15. Blackberry – As Aly said in her meme: Contains my life.

The Questions:

Describe the contents of your handbag.
Basically, the contents of my handbag are generally just the things that I need. I’ve never been one to throw things into my bag and leave them there. I always clean it out, so generally if it’s in there, it’s something I use on a regular basis.

What’s the most important thing in your handbag?
It’s actually a tie between my Blackberry and Ted. My blackberry is really important to me because I do everything with it.. Email, texting, contact with the outside world, Internet browsing, etc.. But Ted is also really special to me for a few reasons, and therefore they’re tied for being the most important.

What’s the most embarrassing thing in your handbag?
Nothing… I’m not embarassed by anything in my bag. My mom would probably say it would have to be the sunglasses, since she think’s its sorta sad that I paid so much for them, but it was my money, so I feel no shame.

What’s the smallest thing in your handbag?
I’m guessing it would be the chapstick, even though my Bluetooth is pretty small too

Is there anything illegal in your handbag?
Not really… I mean unless I decided to start selling the Advils en masse to underaged children.. But other than that, nothing that could get me in trouble.

So well, that’s my bag. Doesn’t contain too much, but everything is essential. Though, if I accumulate any more stuff I’m going to need a bigger bag…

  1. Sweet handbag! I’d love a Coach bag, and yours is so nice! Hehe, I see you’re a fellow NDS fan too – I carry mine everywhere as well. :) And yay for the blackberry – I was planning on getting one of those a few months back, but then I lost my iPod so I got an iPhone instead (which coincidentally I am using right now to write this comment, lol). Anyway, take care Whitters, I’ll see you around! :)

  2. That is so cool. I have almost nothing in mine so if I did this meme I bet it would be boring.

Also I can’t believe I didn’t have your blog linked on mine. You’ve been on my RSS reader for a while now but I finally put your link up at my site – just thought I’d let you know. :)
