Everyone around me is getting sick… Not good. I’ve resigned myself to the fact that the H1N1 virus has simply heard about me and my lack of an immune system and is now coming to get me. I joke about it, but only really to keep myself from freaking out. I cannot afford to catch this flu since 1. (as stated before) I have a practically non-existent immune system and 2. I have no insurance to go to the doctor with. I’m actually really nervous, especially since one of the worst problems with H1N1 is that it causes severe respiratory problems. I have enough respiratory problems to deal with as is thank you very much. I don’t need something else added on top of that. Even my mother seems worried, so I think it’s time to jump in a plastic bubble and ride this one out.
Tomorrow, however, I’m getting out of town for some fun. The boy, his dad, and I are heading down to York (where I’m going to be attending school at) to the county fair. We picked up some tickets to go see Jeff Dunham, and it will be an absolute blast. That is, if they don’t chuck me out of the car along the highway because they’ve gotten sick of me going “Arrrrr!” and talking about all the “scallywags” on the road. Oh yes, tomorrow is International Talk Like a Pirate day and I will be talkin’ like a pirate!

I am sick right now too. I went to the doctor and got some antibiotics. Hopefully you can just take enough preventative measures that you don’t catch anything. I’m sure you will be careful. Good luck!
