If you’re reading this post on my website and not through a feed reader you will have undoubtedly have noticed that there is a new theme here at whitters.nu. It’s a new color scheme for a theme that I created when I still had pyrowinter.org. It was, by measure of the amount of comments and emails that I received about the theme and the two color schemes it went through, the most popular layout that I have ever created. So naturally, while I’m suffering horrible layout block, I thought about it and decided to bring it back for round three. I don’t like this version (except for the actual image) as much as I liked the two others, but it’ll do until I can figure out something more permanent.

I failed at my attempt for NaBloPoMo, which makes me sad. But with one failure comes a few successes. I’ve finally begun reorganizing my content and revamping not only whitters.nu but ALL of my websites. I’m planning on doing a little bit here and there when I get a chance, but on January 1, 2010 I plan to launch completely new, and actively updated versions of whitters.nu, The She Geek, and my Portfolio, plus a few other sub-sites which will be thrown into the mix. January seems far away I know, but with the amount of work I have to do, I’m glad I have that time.

In more personal news, I have officially gone one month without biting my nails. For a habitual biter like me that is a huge accomplishment and I’m really hoping that I can keep it up. I’ve kept them painted and looking pretty in addition to letting them grow and I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t extremely weird to have them. I’m not used to my fingers making little clicking noises when I type and it’s been a very long time since I could put polish on my nails without getting it all over the ends of my fingers.

Now I need to get back to my homework. For only having 4 classes a week, it seems like I am never in short supply of homework!
