Paint By Numbers From…HELL

I’m in a much better place today, but I still really don’t have anything to post about, so I’m going to share with you my most recent Fundamentals of Design project…

So in my design class we’re doing a study of Chuck Close who is this guy who is famous for painting portraits using a grid system. He goes really crazy and paints designs in each of the squares, but our assignment was just to color match and create a “pixelated” self portrait. After about 10 hours, I’m finally done!

So I figured I’d share all the pretty pictures I took with you guys! (IMG Heavy)

Oh man, I don’t think I would have the patience to do that on my own, you did a really great job! Very unique and wall worthy.
