Your Plane is On Time

I figured that I should do my post for today just in case I don’t get a chance to later (since I won’t be arriving in Houston until around 10pm). I’m currently waiting at the gate for my plane to arrive and start boarding. I’ve still got a while to go since we’re not leaving for another hour, but I don’t mind the wait. Honestly, the longer I have to wait, the longer before I actually have to face stepping out of that jetway and onto the plane. I’m terrified, but actually proud of myself because I’m holding it together fairly well.

See! I’m good! I’m good! I’m good!

No, really, I’m fine. I’m excited to get to Houston mainly because of the warmer weather. I’m sick of the cold and ready to be warm again!

Sidenote: My plan of wearing flipflops to avoid the hassle of taking off my shoes (since I knew I’d have to) at security backfired. Standing barefoot in security while the guard halts you so he can chat up his coworkers is not exactly a fun experience. Especially after you’ve seen at least 30 people who are also barefoot (some skeezy, some not) go before you. Yuck!
