I have a lot of friends who have been getting married and starting their families lately. Unfortunately though, with this economy, a lot of them are struggling due to bad credit. I can’t imagine anything much worse than being ready to start your family and being unable to get a home because their credit is preventing them from qualifying for a mortgage loan. But now I think I’m going to suggest checking out something like private home lenders with bad credit to them. Maybe some of them will be able to come up with some sort of plan and eventually be able to get a home.
This is why Ive been keeping a really close eye on my credit score. I don’t want there to be any nasty surprises down the road for me when I do try and go out to get a home or a car or anything that’d I’d need financing for. So far I’ve been able to keep my score up fairly high (over 700) even though I have all of that school loan debt hanging over my head. I think it’s because I don’t have a credit card so I’ve never been able to make late payments and such. I just plan on keeping it as high as possible and hopefully I won’t have to worry about anything in the financial department.
