Tonight is another relaxation night for Whitters. I’ve firmly planted myself downstairs in the love sac and I don’t intend on moving for the next 24 hours. I’ve been so relaxed, in fact, that I almost forgot to blog. With that in mind, I’ll just leave you with my 365 picture today and promise that there will be a longer post tomorrow!

For some ungodly reason, I didn’t get to sleep last night until 6:00 a.m. this morning. About an hour later, my alarm clock was going off and I had to drag my ass out of bed to go to class. Despite being tired as hell, I really enjoyed the class. I’m learning lots of things about Adobe InDesign, and I’ve decided that Baskerville Regular (the old version) is my absolute favorite typeface (my post titles are Baskerville). Now I just need to learn more about the programs so that I can do more cool typography things. It’s such a fascinating field, and there’s so much you can do with it. If you’re skeptical, google David Carson and look at his work which is amazing (in my opinion).
After class I got some homework done and just lounged around because I’m really too tired to even think. The Dell technician came once again and could not fix my computer, so now in 1-2 weeks a new one should be arriving at my door. I’m crossing my fingers and hoping that there will not be a problem with this one.
Tonight, though, Kyle came over and we cooked and hung out for a bit since I haven’t seen him in a couple weeks.

We decided that we were going to cook a chicken and broccoli stromboli for dinner, and even despite all the “if it catches on fire grab the extinguisher!” jokes, it actually came out really well and tasted great. We’re very proud of ourselves!
Now he’s gone, and I’m finishing up this blog so that I can lay down and hopefully make up for the Z’s I missed last night. Good night blogosphere!
My first day back in classes was the longest day that I’ve had in a very long time. But I think this is going to become a trend with Wednesdays. For the life of me, I just cannot get into my Art History class. Mostly because there’s a student in it who just pisses me off. He’s such a know-it-all, but the things he’s talking about have nothing to do with what the teacher is saying. But he just keeps talking and talking. A friend and I concluded that if when you open your mouth and the whole class groans, you should probably shut up. But he doesn’t. He just keeps yapping on and on until everyone in the room wants to kill him.
Thankfully we got out of class an hour early and I was able to get some relaxing in before I had to make dinner (yummy chicken alfredo pizza) and get ready for Radio X.

Once the show is over its bedtime for Whitters since I have class at 8 a.m. and I am definitely not looking forward to it (even if it is my favorite class). I hate getting up in the morning.
My four day weekend has come to and end and I’ve got class tomorrow. It’s Art History, potentially the most boring class on the face of the planet, so naturally I do not want to go.

It’s so boring that I couldn’t even finish the homework tonight. Now I’ve got to get up early and get it done. It’s no so bad, since I don’t have class until 1pm, but I really wish I didn’t have any work to do at all. But I’m planning on getting all of my work for the rest of the week and most of next week done tomorrow so that I don’t have anything to worry about. I’m an excellent procrastinator, so I guess we’ll just have to see how that goes.
Sometimes I really wish I just had a job instead. I could go to work, come home at night, and leave work at work. I wouldn’t have homework to deal with and my non-work time would be my time to do whatever I wanted. It’s really frustrating sometimes.
Sometimes its hard to believe that 7 years ago today that tall, strange kid from robotics that I was fascinated with asked me out. Ever since then my life has been a whirlwind and Mike has been there every step of the way. We got off to a rocky start due mainly to the desperate and slightly pathetic attempts by his ex to get him back, but we stuck it out through everything. We’ve had our highs and our lows, we’ve sworn never to be apart again and taken time off from each other to avoid the complete self-destruction of our relationship. It has been a crazy 7 years, but they’re years that I would never trade for anything else.
7 years in photos… (more…)
Originally I had planned on getting up early today and getting a bunch of chores done. I woke up around 10, saw that it was raining out, and immediately went back to sleep for another two hours. Around 12:30 I finally pulled myself out of bed and decided that I was going to get this list done today whether I wanted to or not. First thing: cleaning and organizing my room.
I decided that my bedside stand had to go. It was ugly, too big, too short, and only had one drawer to store things in. So I shoved it under my bed and after a bit of shopping around on the Internet, I went over to Bed Bath and Beyond to pick up a three-drawer stand as a replacement. I love it because it’s got more storage room, but doesn’t take up even half as much floorspace.

Now, a few hours and a large trash bag later my room is completely clean. Everything is put away, all of the papers, etc. that I didn’t need have been thrown away, and I even made my bed! Go me!
I’ve still got some chores to do around here like finishing my laundry, but I’m not as worried about that since tomorrow is a holiday and that means I don’t have class until 1 on Wednesday.
I really don’t have anything to say tonight, but I just felt like I should blog.
So I guess all I’ll say is that I luff the girls from Ecstasy because they’re freaking awesome!

I spent all day today being lazy! Even took my picture with my laptop webcam… THATS how lazy I was being. But it’s been a good day and I’m actually looking forward to tomorrow for once!
